In 2005 and 2006, Scott Air Force Base contracted with ACS to repair systems that were previously installed incorrectly by an unlicensed radon contractor. 

In 2005, ACS worked with Project Citizen; a project funded by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and led by Debbie Clinebell, a  Waterloo Junior High School science teacher.  There were 359 homes of students in the school district tested.  Of the 359 homes tested, 102 of these were at or above the EPA action level of 4 pCi/L.  ACS donated services and a mitigation system to a family in Waterloo as part of this project.
